Tripp Donnelly has served in several communications and marketing capacities from the White House to Wall Street. A seasoned communications executive and media strategist, Mr. Donnelly combines agency experience at Hill & Knowlton and MWW Group with several years as inside and outside counsel for small and large public and private companies.
Prior to founding the Erinmoor Group, he served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications at leading technology company InPhonic, now Simplexity, and Wirefly based in Washington, D.C. In this role, he directed public, investor and media relations, and strategic development activities. As a founding employee in 2000, Mr. Donnelly played critical roles throughout the company's evolution, having been involved with program and service launches, private financing rounds, acquisitions, divestitures, initial public offering, and corporate restructuring. Mr. Donnelly served as corporate spokesman, representing the company broadly before the general media and Wall Street.
Mr. Donnelly has also served as a consultant to the Democratic National Committee and presidential campaigns since 2000. Through the company Potomac Interactive Partners which he co-founded in 2003, he has developed and managed several successful online marketing and fundraising programs for the DNC and other organizations. He is considered a specialist at bridging online and traditional marketing and media programs. He serves on the Board of Directors for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Technology Committee and the Consumer Electronics Association's Wireless Communications Division.
At the MWW Group in New York, Mr. Donnelly counseled start-up, technology and public companies on public and investor relations, marketing communications and strategic partnerships. He structured and managed PR and IR programs, including mergers and acquisitions and initial public offerings.
From 1995 to 1998, Mr. Donnelly served at the White House in several roles in legislative affairs, communications and presidential advance. Most notably, he served as Director of Congressional Services, where he served as a liaison between the White House, Congress and federal agencies in advancing the President's initiatives. From 1996 to 2000, he advanced and coordinated several Presidential events across the United States and abroad.
He holds degrees from Georgetown University and the London School of Economics. He is a native of Washington, D.C. where he also resides.
